Jerry Tan is an award-winning UX & Interaction Designer with 7 years of design and project management experience. He graduated from the MFA Design & Technology program at Parsons School of Design with Academic Honors.

Jerry dreams of the day when technology empowerment enables a just, equitable, and inclusive world. Connected with more than 20 sightless individuals in the US and EU, he engages in technology-driven accessibility design and initiated multiple award-winning projects, for the blind and visually impaired community's improved independence and well-being.

His works have been recognized by organizations and institutions. His Interactive Audio Description Project won the 2021 Catalyst Fund from Roddenberry Foundation. In addition, his Project ArtEchos, won the Activating Smithsonian Open Access Challenge 2021 by the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and Verizon 5G Lab. As the project lead and interaction designer, he manages the granted projects, leading two compact multidisciplinary teams for public-facing prototypes in the grant periods. He has also worked professionally in the consumer electronics industry, featuring his works in world-class exhibitions such as CES and KBIS.
